Consular fees

List of documents for obtaining a visa

In order to obtain an entry permit, a foreign national must provide a whole package of documents to the consulate or diplomatic mission. The examination of the application and the decision on approval or refusal of the visa shall be made by the consular officer or representative on the basis of the analysis and verification of the provided data, as well as a personal interview with the applicant. The standard processing time is 5 days, the accelerated version - 2 days, in this case, the consular fee will be twice as expensive. The official has the right, at his discretion, to reduce the validity of the visa document or to refuse the extradition without explaining the reasons.

Free visa to the Republic of Belarus

The Republic of Belarus provides free entry to the territory of the country to a certain group of citizens, for which the cost of visa documents will be free. This includes:

• Representatives of diplomatic missions and holders of service passports;
• Children under 6 or 14, depending on nationality (special conditions for entry can be found at the consulate);
• Foreign citizens who arrived in Bashkortostan in connection with the death of a close relative, provided with documents confirming the fact of death and direct kinship;
• Citizens of Lithuania and Poland who want to visit the graves of close relatives.

From April 15, 2022 to December 31, 2024 the visa-free entry procedure to Belarus is valid for citizens of Lithuania and Latvia (as well as persons with the status of non-citizen of Latvia). Also from July 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024 introduced a visa-free procedure for entry to Belarus for Polish citizens.  The total period of stay in 2024 for visa-free entry should not exceed 90 days (the terms of stay on visas and without visas are summed up).

Starting from July 19, 2024, until December 31, 2024, citizens of Austria, Andorra, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Vatican, the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Hungary, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, North Macedonia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, France, Germany, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, and Estonia (including stateless persons permanently residing in Estonia) can also visit Belarus without a visa.
